Lukas Tursa is a dedicated finance professional with nearly 20 years of experience in financial markets and treasury management, running funding and investment activities for government institutions and commercial banks across Europe. As a Head of the State Treasury of Lithuania , he managed to achieve one of the lowest funding cost among the all new EU Governments. During his time with VAB bank (Ukraine), he played one of the leading roles in the transformation process of the bank including development of external funding and communication channels and advanced liquidity management system. Also, VAB bank achieved the most transparent bank’s status 3 years in a raw under Lukas leadership (Standard &Poor’s).

At tbi bank he is enjoying a challenge building an efficient and well diversified funding function in different markets (Bulgaria, Romania, Germany), including retail and corporate deposits and wholesale markets, with the key emphasis on the development of the bank’s digital channels. His wide experience in investor relations is used to overlook the activities of Corporate communications function. Lukas received Masters and Bachelor’s degrees from Vilnius University (Lithuania) in Business finance and Economics and Cass Business School (London) in Banking and International finance. In his spare time, he is a keen skier and basketball player, modern art lover and fanatical rock music concert goer.
