Petr Baron is an entrepreneurial banker and driving force behind the fast-happening transformation of tbi from a traditional bank into Southeast Europe’s leading challenger bank.

Throughout his career of more than 24 years, he has taken on a variety of senior roles in banks and financial companies across various European markets.

In 2016, he was appointed as CEO of tbi, which currently operates in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece, and is one of the most profitable and innovative challenger banks in SEE. Petr’s passionate leadership sets tbi apart on the market by bringing fintech mindset and customer-focus culture to the team.

Petr holds a Master’s degree in Business Management (Finance) from Richmond American University London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), London.

He is also an avid art collector and dog enthusiast. ​
