Petr Baron is an entrepreneurial banker and driving force behind the fast-happening transformation of tbi from a traditional bank into Southeast Europe’s leading challenger bank.

Throughout his career of more than 22 years, he has taken on a variety of senior roles in banks and financial companies across various European markets.

In 2016, he was appointed as CEO of tbi, which currently operates in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Germany, and Lithuania, and is one of the most profitable and innovative challenger banks in SEE. Petr’s passionate leadership sets tbi apart on the market by bringing fintech mindset and customer-focus culture to the team.

Petr holds a bachelor’s degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), London.

He is an art collector and early investor in several European technology ventures.
