Gurkan joins our team with an impressively diverse 24 years of IT experience. Gurkan has held leadership positions in multiple sectors, including finance, telecommunications and industrials. In 2022, he received the recognition ''Best Chief Information Technology Director'' in Turkey. Gurkan led the transformation of our online presence, internal systems and online customer experience. His team supports tbi's sustainable growth through the use of embedded banking technologies, cloud and agnostic technologies, and API-First approaches.
Gurkan has a degree in ''Econometrics and Quantitative Economics'' from the University of Marmara, as well as in ''Electronic Engineering'' from the University of Istanbul. He holds multiple professional certifications in the field of Digital Product Management, AI and Digital Manufacturing & Design.
When he has some free time, Gurkan enjoys mountain climbing, as well as developing his already enviable cooking skills.
